OUR CONCRETE MIXES

Ideal Mix Concrete offers three ranges of concrete mixes. Our latest decorative line is called DêKor, comprising 20 beautiful combinations of stone. We also provide special and normal class mixes for project-specific requirements.
 

DêKOR RANGE

Our Dêkor range is a carefully curated selection that serves as an excellent addition to any new development, whether it's a commercial or residential project, or for indoor or outdoor use.

NORMAL CLASS

The Normal class of concrete products has been created to comply with the Australian Standard AS1379, making it a reliable and versatile option for a variety of general applications.

SPECIAL CLASS

Special class concrete products are specifically tailored to suit specialty applications, and are designed to meet the requirements of engineering specifications.

DêKOR

Our decorative range is a natural stone that not only makes a clear design statement but also provides the strength to withstand the harshest of Australia's seasons. 

As the materials used in the manufacture of Dêkor products are subject to natural variation of colour, texture, size and shape, some variation can occur from batch to batch.

NORMAL CLASS
CONCRETE

Normal Class Concrete is the variety of concrete mixes that are typically standardised. They come in various options:

​

  • N20 MPa and 25 MPa compressive strengths are usually used for house raft, slabs, driveways, footings and footpaths.

​

  • The 32 MPa, 40 MPa, 50 MPa and 60MPa compressive strengths are used typically in commercial, civil, and industrial projects specifically engineered on a case-by-case basis.

SPECIAL CLASS CONCRETE

Special class products are designed to meet even the most challenging engineering specifications. Special class refers concrete mixes that are required to be either:

​

  • Performance based (for example, must have a specified MPa compressive strength at 7 days for high early strength)

  • Precast construction, columns, structural walls, piling, pile caps, shotcrete applications.

  • Core fill mix designs, specifically designed to flow into voids into block work or modular formwork for ease of pumping, however compliance to stringent engineered specifications​.

  • Case-by-case project specific applications that may require fiber-reinforced concrete, high early strength to enable heavy loads being imposed in a short timeline.

  • Stabilised sand as a convenient alternative option for back-filling service trenches and the like, instead of the costly exercise of importing rubble and compacting material on site.

  • Please feel free to speak to our in-house structural engineer to discuss design and scope of works fit for the project requirements.
